My 9-month Folk Herbalism course starts just one week from today!
If you have been sitting on the fence about signing up, now is the time. I have only 3 spots left for the hybrid course (part online, part in-person). In-person classes will be held outside in my garden with masks required. This course is limited to 8 people this year. To claim one of the remaining spots, send me an email to nettlejuice@gmail.com
If you are interested in the online-only course, we will be meeting one Thursday evening a month for 9 months (starting next week). And right now the online course is on sale! Sign up before the end of the weekend and $75 off the course price when you pay in full.
Here’s what a recent student of the winter Folk Herbalism course had to say…
April Coburn’s Folk Herbalism Class is exactly what I was looking for; an introduction to plant medicine from an experienced herbalist who encourages and empowers her students. April’s class gave me the confidence to trust myself to make plant medicine for my family. There were so many great recipes and ideas from each week’s topic that I feel comfortable handling most ailments/complaints that my family and I may have. April’s vast knowledge of herbalism is matched only by her deep dedication to the plants she works with. Her class was not only about using plants, but about forging relationships with plants. April had so many personal stories to share and hearing about plant medicine in action was very helpful to me Something that really stuck with me was something April said in our very first class; she talked about how keeping notes of our herbalism journey and of our medicine making hits and misses is something so special that it will become like a family heirloom, being passed down to the generations that come after us. The knowledge that I gained from the Folk Herbalism course is not something to keep just for myself, it is something that I will teach to my children and I am very grateful to April for that.
