Hi Folks,
This has been a really tough year for vendors of all kinds. We rely on our ability to speak with customers face to face in order to explain our wares. Not being able to do that can really make moving products difficult.
I have been really lucky this year. I’ve been able to continue working by moving all my classes online. I’m so grateful for that. But the medicine sales side of my business was really hit hard, especially the hydrosols (folks just need to be able to smells these lovely things). So, for the rest of the month of December, I’m offering all my hydrosols at 20% off. If you have been wanting some lovely aromatic plant waters to freshen up your living space or for use as skin toners, or even to gift to someone special, this is a great time to get some favorites. Us the coupon code HYDROSOL in the Nettlejuice shop and your plant waters will be 20% off!

Want to learn how to make your own herbal medicine?
Every year I teach a foundations course in Folk Herbalism. We meet once a month for 9 months in my garden in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. Throughout this course I get you started with creating your own materia medica (those herbs you know really well and can draw upon in your medicine making) and cover all the basic medicine making techniques.
This year I am limiting the space in the class to only 8 people. This will hopefully allow us to meet in-person (outside) and stay safe. We begin in March and continue through November.
If this sounds like something you would like to dive into, check out all the details for the course here, then send me an email at nettlejuice@gmail.com to reserve your space.
Of course, if you are ready to dive into Folk Herbalism right away, my online accelerated course starts in just one month! It is starting to fill up, but space is still available.
You
We will hit the ground running in the course and move pretty fast, but you will get all the information you need to begin making your own herbal medicine at home for you and your family. Check out the details for this course here, and send me an email to register at nettlejuice@gmail.com. I can’t wait to see who will be joining me in January.
If you already have a foundation in herbal medicine, but would like some regular inspiration, check out my Herbalist’s Journal. I post articles several times a month talking about how I am working with the plant medicine in my own practice.
There are several levels to join, starting at just $3 a month. This week I talk about harvesting Solomon’s seal rhizomes! This is a place to see what I am up to, but also to interact with me by asking questions and sharing your experiences. Come check it out…
I hope everyone has a happy holiday season and stays safe.
In good medicine,
April
