What is an herbal percolation?
Maybe you’ve heard it mentioned or seen a weird photo of upside-down bottles but didn’t really know what it was. Or maybe you know exactly what a percolation is, but didn’t know where to start to set up your own percolation system.
I love making herbal tinctures by percolation. But it took me several years to actually try it myself because I felt intimidated by the process. Once I made my first percolation, though, I realized just how easy this process is if you just understand how to do it properly.
In two weeks, on February 28th, I will be offering an online class all about herbal percolations for all my patrons at An Herbalist’s Journal. We’ll be covering everything from making your own percolation bottle, to understanding weight to volume ratios, to going through the process of doing a tincture by percolation.
This class is a thank you to everyone who has supported this project, and to everyone who signs up between now and the 28th. I’m so grateful for your support and encouragement.
This is also a kick-off class for my new tier in An Herbalist’s Journal, where I’ll be offering classes several times a year for everyone who joins at my new Rose level.
(You can join at any level to get access to the percolation class.)
After the Percolation class, I’ll be taking your requests for classes you’d like to see offered in the future.
If you would like to become a patron and get access to regular content about herbal medicine making, harvesting, formulating, recipes, and classes, click the button below to join at whichever tier you like and you’ll also get access to my percolation class on the 28th! Subscriptions start at just $3 a month!
See you in the class,
April
